1. Prior or concurrent experience in a related field highly recommended

2. Alcohol/Drug Counseling Certificate of Achievement

3. Associate's Degree plus 2500 hours supervised trainee work experience

   • Lateral to Alcohol/Drug Counseling Certificate of Achievement

4. Bachelor's Degree plus 2000 hours supervised trainee work experience

5. Master's Degree plus 1500 hours supervised trainee work experience
