PROG 109 Introduction to Web Development • 5 Cr.
To be successful a student should have previous computer experience and the following skills: LEARNER PROFILE. 1) Can utilize a variety of resources, including Help files, online technical resources and forums, and books to research and resolve questions. 2) Students are knowledgeable of different web browsers and can easily complete web-based tasks regardless of the web-browser. 3) Can zip and unzip files and folders. 4) Can copy and paste files across a network. 5) Can keyboard with reasonable proficiency (does not "hunt and peck"). 6) Can use a Windows based PC with proficiency. 7) Can follow technical directions to configure software installation. 8) Proficient in installing, uninstalling, repairing software installations. 9) Can use Help and online resources to troubleshoot error messages.

PROG 110 Introduction to Programming • 5 Cr.
The course outcomes align to the common IT course, IT 111: Programming I, and is accepted as a transfer course with participating Washington State community and technical colleges when PROG 120 is also completed at Bellevue College.
