Interior Design

The Interior Design program is suitable for anyone with a serious interest in Interior Design. We offer an AA in Interior Studies and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design, with many classes of interest to working professionals. The BAA welcomes applications from candidates with AA degrees in Interior Design or related fields. BAA Interior Design Courses are not eligible for tuition waivers.

Description- We will explore the interplay between people and the physical environment by weaving together theories of psychology and best practices of design. Outcomes- After completing this class, students should be able to: - examine the ways in which our environment impacts us. - explore how we both conceive and consume the designed environment. - use principles of psychology to promote solutions-based design. - develop perspectives on intersections between place, space, experience.
